Questions organisers ask us
Do we need the app?
No. Everything works in a browser today, on your phone and on your laptop. The iPhone and Android app is for the organisers: it buzzes when photos land, lets you moderate from anywhere in the venue, and saves favourites to your camera roll. Your attendees will never need it.
Is there a limit on how many attendees can upload?
Never. Most album apps cap you at 50, 175, or 350 attendees and charge more as your list grows. Lovely Day does not count your attendees at all.
Is the album private?
Your album lives at its own unguessable link and is not indexed by search engines. Anyone with the link can add and view photos, which is what makes it effortless at a full venue. You can hide or delete anything from the host dashboard.
How long do you keep our photos?
The Album includes 12 months of hosting and Forever includes 10 years. We will always email you before anything expires, and the download-everything button never stops working.
Do attendees need an account or an app?
No. That is the point for an event: you cannot ask a room of 400 people to install something. They scan and upload from the browser.
Can we put our logo on it?
Custom branding is part of the Forever plan. Talk to us if you need a white-label album on your own domain.
Who owns the photographs?
You do. We never license them, sell them, or train anything on them, and you can download the lot whenever you want.
What about attendees who would rather not appear?
Approval starts on for a corporate event, so nothing becomes visible until somebody on your side clears it. Anyone can also ask for a photo to be taken down from the album itself, without creating an account or explaining themselves.
