Who this covers

These terms apply to the couple who creates an album (the host) and to every guest who views or uploads to one. Using Lovely Day means you accept them.

What you get

The free trial holds up to 25 photos and videos with unlimited guests. The Album is $49 once and includes unlimited photos and videos with 12 months of hosting. Forever is $129 once and includes 10 years of hosting and a duplicate backup.

These are one-time purchases. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no card kept on file.

Refunds

If Lovely Day does not work for your wedding, email us within 30 days of your wedding date and we will refund you in full. We would rather return your money than keep it over a bad experience.

Your photos stay yours

You and your guests keep all rights to everything uploaded. You grant us only the narrow permission we need to run the service: to store your files, to show them inside your album, to make thumbnails, and to bundle them for download.

We will not use your photos in marketing, on our website, or in any advertisement without asking you first and getting a clear yes.

What must not be uploaded

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Lovely Day. Do not upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, or that you do not have the right to share, and do not upload images of someone who has asked you not to.

Every photo carries a Report control that any viewer can use without an account, which hides the photo from the album immediately. We review reports and act within 24 hours, which can mean removing content and barring whoever uploaded it from the album.

Hosts can hide or delete anything in their album at any time, and can require their approval before an upload is ever visible.

Your album link

Anyone with your album link can view and contribute. Treat it as you would a house key: fine on a table card at your reception, not fine posted publicly, unless you want the whole internet in your album.

Your host key is the only way into your dashboard and cannot be recovered if lost. Save it somewhere real.

Keep your own copies

We work hard to keep your album safe, and we still mean this sincerely: download your photos. Use the download-everything button and keep a copy somewhere you control. No online service should be the only home of an irreplaceable file.

Uptime and liability

We do not promise the service will never be interrupted. If we fail you, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for that album. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot legally be limited.

Ending things

You can delete your album whenever you like. We may suspend or remove an album that breaks the content rules above, or that we are legally required to remove, and we will tell you why.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States. If we change them, the date at the top of this page changes, and we will email hosts with active albums when a change is material.
